A financial forecast you understand and can defend.

Lenders and funding bodies read the numbers first. We build your three-year financial plan with you, or review the one you have, including the German specifics that international founders often miss.

What a German financial plan contains.

  • Revenue plan

Customers, volumes and prices, derived step by step rather than guessed.

  • Costs and investment

Equipment, running costs, staff, insurance and your own living costs.

  • Profitability

When you break even and what remains after tax and personal drawings.

  • Cash flow

Month by month: is there enough money in the account, even if customers pay late?

  • Capital needs

How much you really need, including a reserve for the start-up phase.

  • Financing

Own funds, bank loan, development loan or grant: what fits your venture.

German items international founders often forget.

Your adviser handles the tax details. In the plan, these items must simply be there.

  • Value added tax collected for the tax office, not for you
  • Income tax prepayments after the first profitable year
  • Health insurance, which is mandatory and paid by you as a self-employed person
  • Trade tax for trade businesses
  • Chamber of commerce contributions
  • Annual payments such as insurance and licences

Frequently asked questions

Which tool do you use?

A structured spreadsheet in the layout German banks and funding bodies are used to, so you can keep it up to date yourself.

I am not a numbers person. Is that a problem?

No. We explain every step so that you can present your numbers yourself, in English or German.

Do you do my tax return?

No. Tax returns and binding tax advice are the job of a tax adviser (Steuerberater). We plan the business side and help you prepare that conversation.

Your next step in Germany starts with a conversation.

Business idea, registration or a decision you are stuck on: we talk it through and tell you honestly how we can help.
